some pics on the day i went to the imperial palace.............like i was saying it was really cold that day n the wind was also cold. so cold that my hands n feet were numb before the end of the day....the palace was really big n i wonder if the palace pple ever get lost inside before. a great place to play hide n seek but not too sure wad time u will finsh the game.... :p a pity that there were a lot of places that was close to visitors or was under repair works.....be sure not to buy anything much in there. the food stalls inside is to purposely charge foreigners more...........

and yes it snowed for 2 half days when i was there.....1st time seeing snow...can be quite dirty n messy n slippery when it melts........

Day 11:

His friend called him ytday to ask him for mahjong in the aft but we are both not willing to. Well, for him its lazy but for me is because I don’t know the game n will be bored to death. But what kind of game do I know how to play? Maybe the kids type like uno…hehehe. But anyway, after a long n dreadful discussion, it was decided that he will take a short afternoon nap n then we will go wang fu jing or xi dan. Not that I wanted to buy anymore things but I just want to spend time with him more since he would be having his cooking lesson the next day’s afternoon. But then when we just step out of the house we saw his sis who said that it was too windy n cold n there is hardly anyone on the streets. When she knew we were heading to town, she discouraged us and suggested that we the 2 of us, as in my bf’s sis and I would go the next day. Then the other thing was that I really wanted to go n bath caz its been 2 days already. So the plan was to go bath later. Then the guy that plays pool w my bf called to ask him out to play pool. To escape from the fate of waiting for them by myself n entertaining myself, we asked the sis along as she wanted to bath too hen we could all go out n eat together. We tat was wad we did. We chat while the guys were playing then went to bath then have dinner in a restaurant nearby. First time bathing w the sis, good n bad but I shan’t go into the detail. Dinner was great. The food was great n they intro my to this shui zhu fu, which has slices of fish in a bowl of sauce w chili n some other stuff. It was suppose to be very hot but not as hot as I thought it might be, the main thing was that we forgot to ask which kind of fish has lesser bones caz the one we had was very boney. Then we headed home. Had a little quarrel w my bf caz I want to go out tml night w my bf to take some photos n walk around but he thinks that it is more of I wanting to shop. Oh ya, I forgot to mention that the sis was having a fun time playing with the camera, taking of us n herself many times, in the morning n night too.

Day 12:

So my bf went to his cooking class n we went to xidan to have a manicure. In the end only I did the manicure n it was quite bad. When the gal was toking to me, I mentioned that I was from Singapore n the price short up. His sis help my bargain it down but still quite exp abt 130 which cld have been less than 100 rmb. It was quite scaring. The gal was doing my nails n they were bargaining loudly about it n I feel being stuck in the middle. My bf finished early n looked for us in xi dan after which we took some photos n then have dinner. On our way back we went to develop the photos while my bf said that he will go to the toilet in the supermarket nearby. The whole time I have been waiting n hoping that he will fulfill his promise of giving me flowers which was y I was unhappy ytday too. After developing selection of the photos, we went to look for him but then his cell was off n the supermarket was about to close n there was no one in the toilet already n we didn’t see him on our way in. then we got ourselves bing tang hu lu, then when we went out we saw that he was there, smoking. His sis was scolding him for being mean as he had no surprise element. So we got into a illegal cab. Then in the cab, in the middle of nowhere, he pulled out a rose from inside his jacket. tat night we started packing the things…………

Day 13:
I woke up earlier then usual n caz my hair was really becoming oily, I washed my hair. It was like the way I wash up in the morning in the kitchen, mixing hot n cold water into a basin n thn wetting ur hair by putting in as much hair as possible into the water n wash, shampoo, rinse twice. It was weird. Then woke my bf up n then we continued packing the stuff. Caz most of the things that I was bring back came in boxes, we spent a long time packing, reweighing, changing bags etc. we left for the airport shortly after lunch. His cousin drove us there. There was my bf off caz n his sis. We went to pick up the photos before heading to the airport. Caz I was wearing the Singapore kind of layers, no extra pants under my jeans, although I wore the big outer jacket it was still cold as it was pretty windy. It was diff in the Beijing airport, u check in ur language after u enter the transit area. My flight was delayed twice n boarded the plane an hour late n then the plane was just not flying for quite some time. By the time I reach Singapore it was abt 1130pm….my parents came to fetch me at the airport and called my bf to chat a little then fell asleep at 3am for there was lessons the next day. It was quiet weird coming back to Singapore. Beijing seemed so near yet so far, I could still see the streets of Beijing w my wide open eyes on my way home. And it seems that there are movies on the day flight and nothing at all on the night flight. I was missing Beijing n my bf even on the plane back to Singapore.
